About us
Thrax is a Catalan technology company specialising in connectivity and network infrastructure for places that fibre and wireless links cannot reach.
We work out of Granollers, in the Vallès Oriental, and serve all four Catalan provinces: remote farmhouses in the Berguedà or the Pallars, campsites and rural tourism in the Pyrenees and the Costa Brava, farms in the Segrià, industrial estates, building sites and boats.
We're a local Starlink distributor: we handle activation, install the kit, invoice in Spain and provide support in Catalan and Spanish. One point of contact, no call centres, no middlemen.

Starlink
Three kits for three situations: the Mini for a house or portable use, the Standard V4 for most fixed installations, and the High Performance for business, boats and demanding environments. All of them support a longer cable, mounts and third-party routers. We bring the right one and leave it installed.

Where we install
Catalonia without decent coverage isn't the exception: it's the Pyrenean valleys, inland Berguedà and Garrotxa, farmhouses in the Bages and Priorat, farms in the Segrià and coves along the Costa Brava. These are the jobs we get called for most.
Farmhouses and remote houses
The most common job: a house a couple of kilometres from the village, with 3 Mbps ADSL or nothing at all. Dish on the roof and running the same day.
Rural tourism and campsites
Group accommodation, Pyrenean campsites and Costa Brava lodgings that need wifi for guests and a POS system that won’t drop in August.
Agriculture and livestock
Farms in the Segrià, Noguera and Garrigues: remote-managed irrigation, sensors, farm cameras and field reports from your phone.

The network is delivered encrypted with WPA2 and IPv6 enabled. If your business needs a VPN, network segmentation or your own router, we set it up during installation.
